007: Pauline Lapierre, French Winemaker

Meet Pauline Lapierre, a new generation of winemaker in the traditional winemaking region of Bordeaux. Because wineries are often family affairs passed down from generation to generation, you’ll find just as many female owners as you will male. Pauline is the Owner, Operator and Winemaker at her family’s winery Chateau Haut Rian, and she has her own plot of land, Les Vignes de Coulous, and last year produced her first organic wine! She talks to us about her life in Cadillac, Côtes de Bordeaux, what it’s like being in this new generation of winemakers, and about branching off with her own winery.

Follow Pauline's winery, Haut Rian, on Instagram and visit their website.
